Enviro Team 2016!

The classes have been busy choosing representatives for the 2016 Enviro Team. Well done and welcome to all of the eco-warriors who are joining us.

This year we are very lucky to have Ngaere Davis and Juliane Winter-Noakes helping to run gardening and cooking sessions. Thank you for your fabulous contribution! If there are any other parents who would like to help, either occasionally or regularly, please let Mrs Blackhall know and we can let you know when to come! (email: ablackhall@kohi.school.nz)

We got underway last week with a session for the Cowley and Snell children, They harvested some beans, tomatoes and corn, looked after the worm farms, and tidied up some of the plants that have just finished, like the corn.

They have also already planted some radishes, spring onions and mesculan mix so we are looking forward to some more tasty treats soon!
